Job description:

The Department of Health are seeking a motivated and suitably experienced Customer Service Officer to join their "TasEquip" Team in North.

The role:

In accordance with established policies and guidelines, the TasEquip – Customer Service Officer is responsible for the effective and efficient operation of the TasEquip Warehouse facility by: 

  • Undertaking daily warehousing activities efficiently and effectively including, but not limited to, the appropriate receipting, labelling, issuing, delivery, collection, cleaning and storage of assets; 
  • Providing high quality customer service information and assistance to TasEquip clients and prescribers to ensure efficient and effective ordering and return processes, and eligible clients receive appropriate asset and repair services in a timely manner; 
  • Keeping appropriate records on all relevant databases.

TasEquip North:

  • Be part of a dynamic small team, who work together over 7 days a week to support vulnerable Tasmanians
  • undertake a wide range of interesting tasks that varies across the day
  • use your practical and people skills in a challenging and rewarding way 

Details of Appointment

Fixed term, part time, shift-worker position working 56 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible until 30 June 2025. 

*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant

  • Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or fixed term full time, part time and casual vacancies.

Salary: $64,125 - $68,925 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022
