Job description:

Exciting opportunity to be part of a supportive team working across the beautiful state of Tasmania.

The Role:

The Quality, Information and Online Services Officer works within the Clinical Quality, Regulation and Accreditation, Clinical Systems Improvement Unit to deliver on a broad range of quality improvement and patient safety work programs, under the leadership of the Nursing Director - Patient Safety.

The role is responsible for coordinating information and online systems related to Clinical Systems Improvement Unit work programs and business needs, including service plans recruitment, quality and safety training and workforce systems, and providing analysis and advice regarding this work to the Nursing Director - Patient Safety.

The role also oversees the intranet content and communication platforms for Clinical Systems Improvement Unit, including the development, consultation, and delivery of information for internal and external stakeholders.

You will need:

  • Demonstrated understanding of, and experience in, quality and patient safety systems, including information management, online databases, and platforms.
  • High level interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, including the ability to develop documentation and online content; and commitment to appropriately involve, negotiate, and consult with QPSS staff across the services/regions and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in project work including planning, implementation, and evaluation of new initiatives, requiring a high level of attention to detail, flexibility, and adaptability in an environment subject to work pressure, competing priorities, ambiguity, and change.
  • Ability to exercise initiative, judgement, sensitivity, and discretion, including the ability to interpret and analyse information and recommend or decide on appropriate action within a senior management environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to autonomously handle high-volume workload and meet timeframes and expected outcomes.

Details of appointment:

Permanent, day worker, position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary: $79,529 - $91,517 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
