We are seeking an experienced allied health professional to join our team based at Launceston General Hospital, to work alongside nursing, medical and allied health teams, and in close collaboration with external service providers, to support the right place right care patient journey and quality outcomes for our patients.

The Role:

The Allied Health Complex Care Coordination (CCC) team is an integral, highly valued team of multi-disciplinary allied health professionals, applying a collaborative transdisciplinary approach to achieve innovative solutions to complex issues surrounding patients.

We are seeking an experienced allied health professional to join our team based at Launceston General Hospital, to work alongside nursing, medical and allied health teams, and in close collaboration with external service providers, to support the right place right care patient journey and quality outcomes for our patients.

The successful applicant will provide expert clinical advice on care management pathways, systems navigation, discharge planning and hospital avoidance for patients with exceptional needs.

Details of appointment:

Fixed term full time, day worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight for a period of 12 months, commencing as soon as possible.

We might also use this selection process to fill subsequent or similar vacancies over the next 12 months; we have other opportunities available. Call us to find out more.

Salary: $120,114 to $130,181 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022

Allowances: 

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

  • Please note that access to salaries beyond $126,845 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme 

In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available: 

  • Professional Development Allowance of up to $1000 per annum

Benefits available to eligible candidates:

  • Travel and relocation assistance support available up to $10,000 for eligible appointees. 
  • Professional development and accelerated pathways.
  • Excellent leave benefits: 20 days annual leave (pro rata), 20 days personal leave (pro rata), and study assistance leave if eligible.

Eligibility:

Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria.

  • Satisfactory completion of an approved allied health professional tertiary qualification/program of study and registered with the relevant National Board or, in the case of self-regulated allied health professions, full membership/eligible for membership with the relevant professional association.
