Job description:

Provide and maintain a high standard of customer focused clerical, administrative and reception services. Maintain confidentiality and work according to all Agency policies, procedures and guidelines. Ensure all information management systems are maintained and processes conducted in accordance with the relevant guidelines and protocols of the Agency.

The Team:

The Paediatric team consists of Paediatricians, Registrars, RMO's, Nurse Practitioners, nurses and admin. Our administrative staff support our clinics held at the NWRH, as well as our outreach clinics across the Northwest of the state. We are part of the broad multi discipline outpatient team that support our Paediatric patients. All services work closely together to focus on delivering excellence in Paediatric healthcare to achieve improved outcomes for our consumers, our workforce, and the Tasmanian community.

The Role:

  • Provide and maintain a high standard of customer focused clerical, administrative and reception services in the Paediatric Outpatient Department.
  • Maintain confidentiality and work according to all Agency policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Ensure all information management systems are maintained and processes conducted in accordance with the relevant guidelines and protocols of the Agency.

Details of appointment:

Permanent, part time, day worker position, working up to 45.6 hours per fortnight, commencing from as soon as you can join the team. 

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary: $64,125 to $68,925 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
