Psychologist – Rehabilitation – Level 3 – Permanent, Full Time
Tasmanian Health Service – North West Coast
Why Tasmania
You could be a Psychologist anywhere. What’s different about Tasmania is our culture and our lifestyle. You will have a powerful connection to your clients and their families, and the community will encourage your success. Our isolation helps drive a culture of innovation and human connection, which feels both old fashioned and… like the only future worth pursuing.
Tasmania, Australia's only island state, offers unparalleled natural beauty and a luxurious lifestyle. Pursuing your health career in Tasmania’s public health system means building strong connections with colleagues and patients. It also means embracing a lifestyle where you can enjoy extraordinary experiences outside of work while making a significant impact on the community during work.
We are small enough here for you to shape and influence your work and make a real impact every day. Yet we are big enough for you to feel part of something important, somewhere you can belong and be surrounded by diversity, friendships, professional support, and positive lifestyles. Tasmanians are connected to the land where we live, and to the stories of the people who have cared for this place for tens of thousands of years.
If you need any more convincing about our beautiful part of the world, here it is North-West Tasmania
The Role
You’ll play a leading role in our inclusive and expert team across North-West Regional and Mersey Community Hospital’s, working alongside our Physicians, fellow Allied Health professionals and Nurses to provide comprehensive care that is centred on the unique situation of each individual you meet. This is how you can gain true meaning from your work. The team will rely on you thriving in your role and will be invested in making this a reality.
